ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܓܝܪ ܕܐܢ ܒܝܬܢ ܕܒܐܪܥܐ ܗܢܐ ܕܦܓܪܐ ܢܫܬܪܐ ܐܠܐ ܐܝܬ ܠܢ ܒܢܝܢܐ ܕܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܠܐ ܒܥܒܕ ܐܝܕܝܐ ܒܫܡܝܐ ܠܥܠܡ
lelm bshmy' 'ydy' bebd dl' byth' 'lh' dmn bnyn' ln 'yth 'l' nshthr' dpgr' hn' db're' bythn d'n gyr ydeynn
For we know that if the earthly house of our tent is dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.

ܐܦ ܥܠ ܗܕܐ ܓܝܪ ܡܬܬܢܚܝܢܢ ܘܣܘܝܢܢ ܕܢܠܒܫ ܒܝܬܢ ܕܡܢ ܫܡܝܐ
shmy' dmn bythn dnlbsh wswynn mththnkhynn gyr hd' el 'p
For most certainly in this we groan, longing to be clothed with our habitation which is from heaven;

ܐܠܐ ܐܦ ܡܐ ܕܠܒܫܢ ܢܫܬܟܚ ܠܢ ܥܪܛܠ
erTl ln nshthkkh dlbshn m' 'p 'l'
if so be that being clothed we will not be found naked.

ܟܕ ܐܝܬܝܢ ܓܝܪ ܗܫܐ ܒܗܢܐ ܒܝܬܐ ܡܬܬܢܚܝܢܢ ܡܢ ܝܘܩܪܗ ܘܠܐ ܨܒܝܢܢ ܠܡܫܠܚܗ ܐܠܐ ܕܢܠܒܫ ܠܥܠ ܡܢܗ ܕܬܬܒܠܥ ܡܝܬܘܬܗ ܒܚܝܐ
bkhy' mythwthh dththble mnh lel dnlbsh 'l' lmshlkhh tsbynn wl' ywqrh mn mththnkhynn byth' bhn' hsh' gyr 'ythyn kd
For indeed we who are in this tent do groan, being burdened; not that we desire to be unclothed, but that we desire to be clothed, that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life.

ܘܕܡܥܬܕ ܠܢ ܠܗ ܠܗܕܐ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܘ ܗܘ ܕܝܗܒ ܠܢ ܪܗܒܘܢܐ ܕܪܘܚܗ
drwkhh rhbwn' ln dyhb hw hw 'lh' lhd' lh ln wdmethd
Now he who made us for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the down payment of the Spirit.

ܡܛܠ ܕܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܗܟܝܠ ܘܡܦܣܝܢܢ ܕܟܡܐ ܕܒܦܓܪܐ ܫܪܝܢܢ ܥܢܝܕܝܢܢ ܡܢ ܡܪܢ
mrn mn enydynn shrynn dbpgr' dkm' wmpsynn hkyl dydeynn mTl
Therefore we are always confident and know that while we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord;

ܒܗܝܡܢܘܬܐ ܗܘ ܓܝܪ ܡܗܠܟܝܢܢ ܘܠܐ ܒܚܙܝܐ
bkhzy' wl' mhlkynn gyr hw bhymnwth'
for we walk by faith, not by sight.

ܡܛܠ ܗܢܐ ܬܟܝܠܝܢܢ ܘܡܣܘܚܝܢܢ ܕܢܥܢܕ ܡܢ ܦܓܪܐ ܘܢܗܘܐ ܠܘܬ ܡܪܢ
mrn lwth wnhw' pgr' mn dnend wmswkhynn thkylynn hn' mTl
We are courageous, I say, and are willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be at home with the Lord.

ܘܡܬܚܦܛܝܢܢ ܕܐܢ ܥܢܘܕܐ ܚܢܢ ܘܐܢ ܥܡܘܪܐ ܠܗ ܗܘܝܢ ܫܦܪܝܢ
shpryn hwyn lh emwr' w'n khnn enwd' d'n wmthkhpTynn
Therefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well pleasing to him.

ܟܠܢ ܓܝܪ ܥܬܝܕܝܢܢ ܠܡܩܡ ܩܕܡ ܒܝܡ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܕܢܬܦܪܥ ܐܢܫ ܐܢܫ ܒܦܓܪܗ ܡܕܡ ܕܥܒܝܕ ܠܗ ܐܢ ܕܛܒ ܘܐܢ ܕܒܝܫ
dbysh w'n dTb 'n lh debyd mdm bpgrh 'nsh 'nsh dnthpre dmshykh' bym qdm lmqm ethydynn gyr kln
For we must all be revealed before the judgment seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.

ܡܛܠ ܕܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܗܟܝܠ ܕܚܠܬܗ ܕܡܪܢ ܠܒܢܝܢܫܐ ܗܘ ܡܦܝܣܝܢܢ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܕܝܢ ܓܠܝܢܢ ܣܒܪ ܐܢܐ ܕܝܢ ܕܐܦ ܠܡܕܥܝܟܘܢ ܕܝܠܟܘܢ ܓܠܝܢܢ
glynn dylkwn lmdeykwn d'p dyn 'n' sbr glynn dyn l'lh' mpysynn hw lbnynsh' dmrn dkhlthh hkyl dydeynn mTl
Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are revealed to God; and I hope that we are revealed also in your consciences.

ܠܐ ܗܘܐ ܬܘܒ ܢܦܫܢ ܡܫܒܚܝܢܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܥܠܬܐ ܗܘ ܝܗܒܝܢܢ ܠܟܘܢ ܕܗܘܝܬܘܢ ܡܫܬܒܗܪܝܢ ܒܢ ܠܘܬ ܗܢܘܢ ܕܒܐܦܐ ܗܘ ܡܫܬܒܗܪܝܢ ܘܠܐ ܒܠܒܐ
blb' wl' mshthbhryn hw db'p' hnwn lwth bn mshthbhryn dhwythwn lkwn yhbynn hw elth' 'l' lkwn mshbkhynn npshn thwb hw' l'
For we are not commending ourselves to you again, but speak as giving you occasion of boasting on our behalf, that you may have something to answer those who boast in appearance, and not in heart.

ܐܢ ܓܝܪ ܫܛܝܢܢ ܠܐܠܗܐ ܘܐܢ ܬܩܢܝܢܢ ܠܟܘܢ
lkwn thqnynn w'n l'lh' shTynn gyr 'n
For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God. Or if we are of sober mind, it is for you.

ܚܘܒܗ ܓܝܪ ܕܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܠܨ ܠܢ ܕܪܢܝܢܢ ܗܕܐ ܕܚܕ ܚܠܦ ܟܠܢܫ ܡܝܬ ܡܕܝܢ ܟܠܢܫ ܡܝܬ ܠܗ
lh myth klnsh mdyn myth klnsh khlp dkhd hd' drnynn ln 'lts dmshykh' gyr khwbh
For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus, that one died for all, therefore all died.

ܘܚܠܦ ܟܠܢܫ ܗܘ ܡܝܬ ܕܐܝܠܝܢ ܕܚܝܝܢ ܠܐ ܠܢܦܫܗܘܢ ܢܚܘܢ ܐܠܐ ܠܗܘ ܐܝܢܐ ܕܥܠ ܐܦܝܗܘܢ ܡܝܬ ܘܩܡ
wqm myth 'pyhwn del 'yn' lhw 'l' nkhwn lnpshhwn l' dkhyyn d'ylyn myth hw klnsh wkhlp
He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.

ܘܡܟܝܠ ܚܢܢ ܠܐܢܫ ܒܦܓܪ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢܢ ܘܐܢ ܝܕܥܢ ܒܦܓܪ ܠܡܫܝܚܐ ܐܠܐ ܡܢ ܗܫܐ ܠܐ ܝܕܥܝܢܢ
ydeynn l' hsh' mn 'l' lmshykh' bpgr yden w'n ydeynn l' bpgr l'nsh khnn wmkyl
Therefore we know no one after the flesh from now on. Even though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now we know him so no more.

ܟܠ ܡܢ ܕܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܘ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܪܝܬܐ ܗܘ ܚܕܬܐ ܥܬܝܩܬܐ ܥܒܪ ܠܗܝܢ
lhyn ebr ethyqth' khdth' hw bryth' hkyl hw dbmshykh' mn kl
Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.

ܘܟܠ ܡܕܡ ܗܘܐ ܚܕܬܐ ܡܢ ܐܠܗܐ ܗܘ ܕܪܥܝܢ ܠܗ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܝܗܒ ܠܢ ܬܫܡܫܬܐ ܕܬܪܥܘܬܐ
dthrewth' thshmshth' ln wyhb bmshykh' lh dreyn hw 'lh' mn khdth' hw' mdm wkl
But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation;

ܐܠܗܐ ܗܘܐ ܓܝܪ ܒܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܘ ܕܪܥܝ ܠܥܠܡܐ ܥܡ ܪܒܘܬܗ ܘܠܐ ܚܫܒ ܠܗܘܢ ܚܛܗܝܗܘܢ ܘܣܡ ܒܢ ܕܝܠܢ ܡܠܬܐ ܕܬܪܥܘܬܐ
dthrewth' mlth' dyln bn wsm khThyhwn lhwn khshb wl' rbwthh em lelm' drey hw bmshykh' gyr hw' 'lh'
namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation.

ܐܝܙܓܕܐ ܚܢܢ ܗܟܝܠ ܚܠܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܘܐܝܟ ܗܘ ܕܐܠܗܐ ܒܥܐ ܡܢܟܘܢ ܒܐܝܕܢ ܚܠܦ ܡܫܝܚܐ ܗܟܝܠ ܒܥܝܢܢ ܐܬܪܥܘ ܠܐܠܗܐ
l'lh' 'threw beynn hkyl mshykh' khlp b'ydn mnkwn be' d'lh' hw w'yk mshykh' khlp hkyl khnn 'yzgd'
We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
